Frequently Asked Questions

Account

How do I delete my account? Go to Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account. This will permanently delete all your data including habits, streaks, health history, and purchases. This action cannot be undone.

I forgot my password. How do I reset it? On the login screen, tap Forgot password? and enter your email. You’ll receive a reset link within a few minutes. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it.

Can I change my email address? Not currently — email changes aren’t supported yet. Contact us at lirin.noreply@gmail.com if you need help with your account.


Subscriptions & Purchases

How do I manage my LIRIN Pro subscription? Your subscription is managed through Apple. Go to iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → LIRIN to cancel, upgrade, or view your billing details.

I purchased a Streak Shield but it’s not showing up. Force-quit the app and reopen it. If the shield still doesn’t appear, contact us with your Apple purchase receipt and we’ll sort it out.

Can I restore my purchases on a new device? Yes — log into your LIRIN account on your new device. Your Pro status is tied to your LIRIN account. For Streak Shields (consumable purchases), these are stored on your account and will carry over.

I deleted my account — can I restore my Pro subscription? No. Deleting your account permanently removes all data and purchase history. Your Apple subscription may still be active (cancel it through iPhone Settings to avoid future charges), but LIRIN cannot restore access or data after deletion.

How do I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund for any App Store purchase.

I can’t see Nutrition or Challenges. These features require LIRIN Pro. Tap Upgrade to Pro on either section to unlock them.


Apple Watch & Health Data

How do I use LIRIN on my Apple Watch? Install the LIRIN Watch app from the App Store on your Apple Watch. Open it and approve the HealthKit permissions when prompted. Your today’s workout will appear automatically. Requires LIRIN Pro.

My Apple Watch workout isn’t showing in Today’s Performance. Make sure your iPhone was nearby (Bluetooth range) when you tapped Finish Workout on your Watch. Today’s Performance appears in the Train tab on your iPhone after the session syncs. If it still doesn’t appear:

  1. Go to iPhone → Health → Data Access & Devices → LIRIN and ensure all permissions are enabled
  2. Force-quit and reopen LIRIN on your iPhone
  3. Check that you are subscribed to LIRIN Pro — Today’s Performance requires Pro

My recovery score isn’t updating. Make sure:

  1. Your Apple Watch is charged and worn while sleeping
  2. LIRIN has HealthKit access: iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → LIRIN — ensure all permissions are enabled
  3. Open LIRIN and select the sync button on the top right corner of the Recovery tab.
  4. To genenrate a new Daily Brief with the updated Recovery score, select the refresh button on the top right corner of the Home tab.

How do I connect my Apple Watch for health data? LIRIN reads health data automatically via Apple Health — there’s no separate pairing needed. Just ensure HealthKit permissions are granted (see above). For Apple Watch workout tracking, install the LIRIN Watch app and ensure you are on LIRIN Pro.

How do I disconnect from Apple Health? Go to iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → LIRIN and toggle off any data types you don’t want LIRIN to access.


Habits & Streaks

My streak broke — what happened? Streaks break if you miss checking in on a habit for a full calendar day. You can protect a streak using a Streak Shield (available in Profile → Power-Ups).

Can I restore a broken streak? Yes, if you have a Streak Shield available. Tap Use Shield on the affected habit card within 24 hours of missing a check-in.

How do I delete a habit? Go to Habits → Edit and select the trash icon next to the habit you want to delete.


Workout Plans & Training

How do I set a body goal and get a workout plan? Go to the Train tab → Set Body Goal. Select your goal type, fitness level, and target date. LIRIN will generate a personalised 84-day training plan for you. Requires LIRIN Pro.

My workout plan isn’t showing in the Train tab. Make sure you have set a body goal (Train tab → Set Body Goal) and that you are subscribed to LIRIN Pro. Workout plans are exclusive to Pro users.

How do I switch between Gym and Home workouts? In the Train tab → Today view, tap the Gym / Home toggle at the top of your workout card to switch between gym exercises and bodyweight home alternatives.

When is Garmin integration coming? Garmin Connect integration is in development and coming soon. We’ll notify you via the app when it’s available.


Privacy & Data

What data does LIRIN send to Anthropic (Claude AI)? Only anonymised health metrics (e.g. “HRV: 52ms, sleep: 7.2h”). We never send your name, email, or identifiable information. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I change my AI coaching consent? Go to Profile → Privacy in the app.

How do I delete all my health data? Delete your account via Profile → Delete Account. This removes all data permanently.


Strava

How do I connect Strava? Go to Coach → Strava tab and follow the OAuth flow.

How do I disconnect Strava? Go to Coach → Strava tab and follow the OAuth flow.
