LIRIN Privacy Policy

LIRIN (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a wellness app developed by Madan Mohan Kumar Shanthakumar. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the LIRIN iOS app.

Health Data (via Apple HealthKit)

AI Coaching (Anthropic Claude)

LIRIN uses Claude, an AI made by Anthropic, to generate daily briefs and coaching responses. We send Anthropic anonymised, aggregated health metrics only — for example, “HRV: 52ms, sleep: 7.2h”. We never send your name, email address, or any directly identifiable information to Anthropic. See Anthropic’s Privacy Policy.

Meal Photo Scanning

When you scan a meal photo, the image is sent to our server and to Anthropic’s API for calorie and nutrient analysis. Photos are processed and are not stored permanently.

Access and Correction

You can view and update your profile information at any time in the app under Profile → Training.

Delete Your Data

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time in the app under Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

Important: Deleting your account will permanently remove all your habits, streaks, check-ins, health history, and profile data. Any active Pro subscriptions or purchased Streak Shields will be cancelled and cannot be restored.

You can change your AI coaching and HealthKit consent preferences at any time in the app under Profile → Privacy.

Health Data

You can revoke LIRIN’s access to Apple Health data at any time through iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → LIRIN.

Notifications

You can disable habit reminders at any time through app settings or iPhone Settings → Notifications → LIRIN.


6. Children’s Privacy

LIRIN is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
